AMS Micro
The AMS Micro is a state-of-the-art diamond verification device from De Beers that has been specially developed to quickly and precisely test tiny melee diamonds for their naturalness. With a testing capacity of up to 2,500 diamonds per hour, it distinguishes natural from synthetic diamonds by analyzing their growth structures. An automated feed and output arm ensures efficiency, while the error rate for laboratory diamond identification is 0%. The device reduces laboratory testing costs by up to 50% depending on volume and was first delivered to KGK’s Swiss subsidiary in February 2024.
